The first word you think about when you go to Blue Host's website is probably "Professional", and that is exactly what they are. Blue Host is a hosting company that offers one plan, a shared hosting plan at 6.95/month. The plan is pretty basic, but it does come with a couple of extras. SSH (Secure Shell), SSL, and a free domain forever are the three most notable frills.

The packages they offer have are very well priced, except for the fact that if you sign up for under a year, you have to pay this $30 set up fee, which seems to be a bit ridiculous. But if you go the one year, or two year route, you won't have to pay that setup fee. Blue Host is now offering "unlimited" storage and transfer. This just means that whenever you get to a certain amount of server usage, they move you to a new server, which can be a bit annoying and will result in some down time.
Customer Support
Blue Host's customer service has also taken a turn for the worst recently. They have been less than helpful in many situations, whereas before, they wanted to give you a back massage as well as fix your problem. With the overselling of their web space now, by offering unlimited space and such, and just selling to many plans, they have overcrowded their servers by a lot.
Conclusion
So basically, if you are going to only be using a small amount of space and bandwidth, and not require very good customer service, you'll be fine with Blue Host.
